Graduate: Admission Procedures for Tulane Graduates

Required materials to be included in your 4+1 application:
  1. Completed Tulane Graduate School application form
  2. Completed statement of purpose
  3. GRE, MCAT, SAT, or ACT scores reported on coverpage of the application form
  4. Official Tulane undergraduate transcript (not from web)
  5. Letter of recommendation from a Tulane faculty member who taught you in a science course (if pursuing a thesis track the letter must be from the faculty member who will supervise the thesis)
  6. Letter of recommendation from a second faculty member who taught you in a science course

Tulane students working toward the B.S. in Neuroscience or a related major may apply for admission. Acceptance into the program will be competitive and based on the decision of the 4+1 Neuroscience Program Committee comprised of 5 faculty members of the Neuroscience Graduate Program, including two from each campus. Applicants will need a minimum of 1100 on their GRE or SAT (old exam, 1650 on new SAT) and 3.0 undergraduate GPA.

The deadline for receipt of the COMPLETED APPLICATION, INCLUDING ALL SUPPORTING MATERIALS is June 1 to start in the fall semester and October 15 to start in the spring semester.
